Where we started:

Mold Masters was incorporated in December of 1961 to manufacture precision plastic injection and fiberglass compression molds.  As the business grew, the shop area, then a small leased facility in Willoughby, Ohio, became too small.  Three acres of land was purchased on Clover Ave. in Mentor, Ohio and a 5,000 sq. ft. facility was erected. This facility has grown to over twenty four thousand square feet and now houses the corporate headquarters, engineering and tooling division.

Where we are today:

Nearly 50 years later Mold Masters has grown into two divisions. The Tooling Division located on Clover Ave. and the Pattern Division located in a 25,000 Sq. Ft. facility on Tyler Blvd., both in Mentor Ohio. Mold Masters is a major supplier to the airfoil investment casting industry for both precision tooling and complex pattern assemblies.  Today, Mold Masters employs over 160 people at the two locations. The Company’s success is, to a large extent, due to its emphasis on using high technology and state-of-the-art equipment combined with a “can do” team approach by our employees in serving our customers’ needs.

Our customers include all the major investment casting foundries and their ceramic core suppliers, as well as, both directly and indirectly, every manufacturer of jet turbine engines in the U.S., as well as many suppliers and manufacturers throughout the world.

The challenges we face today include meeting the most stringent quality standards, cost reduction efforts and rapid deliveries as demanded by our customers in this highly competitive global market.  To meet these challenges and enable the company, as well as its customers, to prosper requires a highly skilled, trained and motivated work force. Our continuous efforts using ghant charts, standard procedures, cost control and training in AS9100 quality system, Lean Six Sigma and Siemens Unigraphics NX  Cad system will assure continued future customer satisfaction.
